About us

BIOPAN is a private Polish research and technology organisation (RTO) specialising in the built environment. It conducts research in urban planning and urban social studies, housing development with a focus on senior housing, as well as building and component prototyping and testing. BIOPAN operates an experimental prototyping plant and a fully equipped material lab to support applied research and innovation.

BIOPAN components is a technology designed for the construction of serviced housing for seniors. The technology enables the construction of prefabricated multi-storey senior housing buildings using timber structures. Its main advantages include high energy efficiency, a healthy indoor microclimate, and short construction times achieved through prefabrication. The technology has been granted the European Technical Assessment No. ETA 22/0544.
