We conduct interdisciplinary research in the fields of spatial planning and urban sociology (SSH), integrating social, environmental, and technological aspects.
BIOPAN
is a private Polish research and technology organisation (RTO) specialising in the built environment. It conducts research in urban planning and urban social studies, housing development with a focus on senior housing, as well as building and component prototyping and testing. BIOPAN operates an experimental prototyping plant and a fully equipped material lab to support applied research and innovation.
The BIOPAN components technology enables the adaptation of the scale and form of development depending on the urban context.
In 2022 in Wielki Łęck (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship), we built a two-storey prototype building in BIOPAN components technology. It comprises two showcase one-person flats of 30 m² each.
